They accepted the painting called Almere!

Emmely schilderde dit tweeluik. Ze vertelde dit als uitleg.
Mama als je dood gaat, dan mag je nog niet naar binnen gaan.
Je moet echt voor de poort wachten tot ik ook kom.
Want anders kan ik je misschien niet meer vinden.

Ik zei tegen haar oke, mama wacht daar op je maar dan moet jij mama beloven, dat je heel erg oud wordt en alles in je leven gaat doen wat je graag wil Vele reizen maken en gelukkig wordt.
Ze zei: dat doe ik dan ,maar vind je het niet erg dat je misschien heel lang moet wachten?
Nee lieverd, mama wacht op je.

Emmely painted this diptych. She told me this as an explanation.
Mama if you die, then you may not yet go inside.
You must really wait in front of the gate till I come too.
Because otherwise I might not be able to find you anymore.

I said to her okay, mama waits for you there but then you have to promise mama, that you will become very old and you will do everything in your life what you want to do. Make many journeys and become very happy.
She said: then I will do that, but don´t you mind that you will have to wait for a very long time?
Nee honey, mama will wait for you.

She is my grand-daugther and lives with me from 2003 together with her brother.
