This painting I made for the City Library of Almere in The Netherlands.
I was asked to make a painting for the exposition called Freedom.
I was one of several other artists from the Dutch province of Flevoland who were officially asked to make a work of art for this specific exposition.
This exposition was about the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, just 20 years ago.
The expostion was part of European festivities to celebrate and commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall.
This expostion was held at the City Library at Almere in November 2009.
